Audience Awareness
All of these commercials have a reason for being created. It was made to get people to buy into each product so they can make money out of it. We should be critical of the intended audience in advertisements and other information that surrounds us because they could possibly give us false information.
I believe these videos were intended for us people to watch and to inspire us with what they are trying to sell. For example, in the Budweiser video, it shows that the war is over in the beginning and that everyone should turn to "Budweiser" for excitement and celebration. It states towards the end, "Great Times Are Always Waiting, Grab Some Buds!" Whether it's watching a game or having a big party, turn to Buds.
In the Life Cereal Mikey Likes It Commercial, two little boys were debating on who should try the new "Life" cereal. They say it's good for you. So they place the cereal in front of Mikey(who supposedly hates everything), to see if he likes it, and Mikey begins to eat it. This commercial is more of persuading others to eat the delicious, healthy cereal.
In the last video of the Colin Kaepernick Nike Commercial, they say calling a dream crazy is not an insult, it's a compliment. This video is shown to inspire everyone that we can do anything like become the greatest athlete. It's only crazy until you do it, so do it.
